Bengo Paralympic Complex – Angola

The Bengo Paralympic Complex, in Angola, represents another landmark project executed by CARAPAX EUGREB, distinguished by its technical complexity and structural excellence. The project features four double-curved triangular sails, tensioned by 22 mm diameter cables, giving the space a striking architectural identity.

The membranes, covering a total area of 1,250 m², are supported by a metal structure composed of pillars and tie rods, some reaching 12 meters in height. The tension at the anchor points, achieved using a hydraulic jack, reached 200 kN, ensuring maximum precision and stability.

With spans of 40 meters, this is a high-level engineering project, fully carried out by our team — from design to manufacture and installation. A project that reinforces CARAPAX EUGREB’s commitment to innovation, quality and technical excellence at every stage.

The official inauguration of the Bengo Paralympic Complex took place on October 4th, marking a new milestone in sports engineering in Angola.
